ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED WITH A GENERAL OVERHAUL AND DRAUGHT PROOF, WHICH CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

Remove sashes from the box
Carry out any minor repairs to the sashes and box
Machine sashes for correct fitting and operation
Machine sashes and install weather pile
Balance sashes for correct weight
Re-cord sashes
Re-fit sashes along with new parting/staff bead incorporating pre-installed weather pile.
Fit new window furniture consisting of sprung loaded Brighton Fastener, sash pulls and sash lifts.
Remove and replace loose putty
All machining carried out in customised vans
Dust sheets used
All rubbish removed from site.

Secondary glazing can be both unsightly and restrict the use of your windows making it difficult to maintain and clean properly. The required results can be achieved through draught proofing, which will improve your windows operation and not affect their appearance. Other advantages include a reduction in noise and ever increasing heating bills.
